Question:

Fellow Christians: What are you doing to keep from giving into the tempation to be ugly on here?

OK. People are always bashing each other on here. Both sides. This is riduculous. I am a Christian and this goes against our faith. God's heart is for us to avoid fruitless arguments that result only in hostility.

I know it is tempting to jump in and attack those who are attacking us, or even to be the first to attack, but what can we do to avoid this tempation?

  1. By fruitless arguments you mean the arguement about creation and evoultion.

Even if you prove creation is right and there is a god what make you think that we would want to submit you God and to surredner out lives to him

  2. I look at everyone a someone God loves. I see past the hate to the person.I pray God give me wisdom and his love for all people on here. Don't repay evil with evil but repay evil with good.

  3. Pray on it. God will help you.

  4. I do not avoid it. I resist it.

  5. I honestly do it to help brighten my horizon on how the younger kids think.  Honestly almost all questions that are asked by our opposition so to speak are all not researched and self-drawn conclusions based on what they have seen on TV.

By answering some of these questions I see how youth draw there conclusions as well build up some head knowledge of common misconceptions.

  6. Pray for me ,i never thought of it but i do it and i see your point ,its like when you cuss ,think about if you are saying it to Gods face(most wouldnt ) but you actually r because he is always with us ,so its like we are always sinning right in his face.

  7. To warn fellow Christians of the wrong brand of an impending slaughter of their children is a public service that Fundamentalist Evangelical preachers fail to perform!

So what is that you are doing?

According to the Bible, ONE SUREST SIGN of Jesus coming back and the Rapture™ is the slaughter of innocent children in the end of days! Some Christian preachers explain away this gross fact in the Bible… The Bible writers made it into a pattern that before any major event in Bible stories innocent children get slaughtered! This is a primitive trick to scare the heck out of religious people to catch their attention! When Israel was liberated from Egypt God had ALL the innocent first born children of Egyptian parents slaughtered on the spot! When Jesus was born ALL the innocent male children 2 years of age and under were slaughtered in a way that not even God the Holy Ghost could possibly comfort the grieving mothers! (Mat 2:18)  So it will be when Jesus comes back a lot of liberal Churches will loose ALL their CHILDREN… Jesus will have them slaughtered not in Iraq, but in the Churches!

Revelation 2:23 (NIV) (Jesus says in his REVELATION for the last days) I WILL STRIKE HER CHILDREN DEAD* (*Just for the heck of it! Hey, No abortionist can beat Jesus at killing babies… AMEN???... Jesus is doing the killing of the innocent children to announce his return and at the same time teach everybody a lesson on WHO IS THE BOSS! In our society today Christians are very selective in what they preach from the Bible! Their PRO-LIFE bit is an afford to dissociate themselves from this kind of Jesus’ REVELATION…!) Then ALL THE CHURCHES WILL KNOW that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.* (*I’m the BOSS says Jesus Christ the LORD and I take it on the kids in the Churches! Jesus is promoting the killing of children of the wrong faith BY EXAMPLE! Not even the Mafia measures up to Jesus! Jesus’ infanticide mania comes from way back when God the Father highly favored anyone killing the innocent children of his enemies… because the Bible God has many enemies!)

Psalm 137:8-9 (NIV) O Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us- he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.

Jesus knows that the enemies of God ought to be killed in their infancy when it is easier to get rid of them! In Bible times hardly anybody practiced abortions because it was easier and much safer to “dash the infants against the rocks” after they are born like God suggests in his Holy Word the Bible! Unwanted children were put out without any accountability right after they were born like it was done in Egypt to the willing Hebrew ladies. Christianity is not much of a civilized religion at all! Today, it is pure Christian PRO-LIFE bigotry of the worst kind that makes Christianity acceptable in our religious oriented society…!

Luke 19:27 (NIV) (Jesus is very excited telling this story… most Christians prefer to ignore!) But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them–bring them here and kill them in front of me.

Jesus is suggesting the slaughter by drowning of anybody causing a Christian who is weak in the Faith to stumble (Mat 18:6)… Jesus is also suggesting the shedding of body parts (Mat 5:29-30), INCLUDING male castration (Mat 19:12) (which is forbidden by the OT God’s “Be fruitful and multiply”) to make it into the Kingdom of Heaven!  Most Christians today don’t pay attention to Jesus’ gory suggestions, but throughout history many Christians got castrated (See Wikipedia, castration).  A lot of people paid with their lives for disobeying the Clergy, too including the witches and slaves that were killed here in America ONE NATION UNDER GOD! The first criminals to be sentence to death by hanging were witches! Remember that the Bible was written by men like you and I… wait! Not I... sorry, but like some right wing Christian weirdoes!

  8. Shalom,

Ruach ha Kodesh,... That is Hebrew for the breath of G-d.  Non-Jewish Christians call it the Holy Spirit.  Im' not putting you down or pulling your leg.  I am a Messianic Jew, (Jewish Christian), and we have been harassed and harangued by all sides for our beliefs.  Over the centuries we have learned tolerance of others and how to really turn the other cheek.  I have three questions for you to ask yourself before you "go off" on some of those who persecute you.  1st, Does this person know what I know about my G-d?  (G-d is love that is why He became Jesus and died for our sins)  2nd, Do I want them to go to h**l just for hurting my feelings?  (Jesus said that you would be persecuted, He also said that you would be rewarded for it!)  3rd, Have you ever heard of the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit?  (The first is love)

If you think of these questions before you answer back a detractor or a person who is acting like a s*****k you may be the one person to really reach that h**l bound soul for our Father in Heaven.  Please pray about it my friend.

    Yeshua shalom alechem!

(The peace of Jesus be with you!)

    Your brother in Yeshua/Jesus,

    Eli

  9. Its hard and it is against our faith indeed.

    See my question:

    "Atheists and Christians, see this."

I have apologized to the atheists for the ugly behaviors of some Christians. Especially that "jesus" folk. Not so much as Jesus.

  10. I try to remind myself that a man shall eat well from the fruit of his lips.

I hate arguing and refuse to stoop to that level.  Sometimes I may give a rebuttal with scripture, but I will not argue.  They will either believe and be obedient to the word of God or not.  I can so the seed, but it's up to them whether or not they receive it.  It's solely their choice.  I try to answer questions that seem to be from really sincere people looking for help and wisdom and pray that something I say may help them.

And I have to agree with you, there is way too much bashing on here, especially from the Christians.  We are supposed to be a reflection of Christ, not be filled with a spirit of anger and hostility, but of love, power, and a sound mind.

  11. If the question is worth answering, do so with facts. If you do not have facts, you could state "in my opinion", or your faith tells you----

If some one has been rude, hateful or disrespectful, no harm in stating that too.

  12. We have to remember that we are not called to defend God (this took a long time for me to realize...). God's been around for awhile and He can take care of Himself when it comes to name calling and naysayers. we are called to show His Love through our example. we are called to go and make disciples, not debates. words never change people. love does. perfect love in action.

  13. Sing it, sister.  See the response above mine?  That's the problem.  I've really considered not coming here any more because answers like that (and there are so many) are really changing my opinion of Christians and I don't like that.

I used to think that only a minority were hateful hypocrites, now  I'm beginning to wonder how big of a minority it is.  The anonymity of the internet gives people the freedom to say what they really think.  That gives me pause.

  14. Spend time in prayer and Bible meditation before getting in here.

There is a great deal of pressure against Christians in these last days.  The Atheists are deliberately trying to weed us out of everything here in the US, not just the R&S.  they have already overtaken the schools.  They want to totally destroy Christianity and that's what they are trying to do literally.  I'm tired of being frustrated.

  15. It may not sound Christian, but just roll up your sleeves, get in there and slug it out.
