Question:

Fellow Conservatives: Do you agree, Dems just don't get the Palin pick?

They seem to think it's about them - a ploy to pull female vote and the Hillary vote. But I'm pretty sure it's about us - catering to the conservative base (finally) and stir some excitement for the ticket.

It seems for the first time conservatives are excited about voting FOR McCain, as opposed to just settling and voting against Obama.

  1. Your absolutely right, I wish my excitement vote counted as an extra one.

  2. Hmmmm...

So a small town populist stands up against corruption in her own party and fights for reform to the point of unseating an incumbent governor in her own parties primary and goes on to be elected as governor in a general election and then cleans house and fires all of the cronies..oh yeah from her own party and forms a new cabinet for true reform.

Yep, this is change I can believe in.

Meanwhile, Obama picks a member fo the old guard to mentor him and support him for a smooth transition into the DC mindset.

Yes, I am very excited about Palin.

  3. Palin is sharp as a tack, she don't take c**p from the old fata$$ dead politicians that put this country in the shape its in and I don't see how Obama can attack Palin without looking like a fool. I'm happy to finally see some excitement in this election, no matter who wins.

  4. No we get it.  You just don't want to admit your candidate is a sneaky weasel. Would McCain have chosen Palin with her virtually no experience if she were a man? h**l no!! Being a mayor of a city of 7000 people and Governor of no man's land Alaska is hardly enough to make someone 2nd in command. As a woman you should be smarter than this and know when a man is using you.

  5. No. as an independent i get exactly what McCain is trying to do. McCain  is trying to get Hilary Clinton's supporters to vote him. he is also try to act like he is a progressive man by picking a woman as VP.

i think McCain made an unwise decision to choose this woman. He could have picked another republican woman to be his running mate. he could have easily picked someone like condelizza rice to be his VP. she's more experienced and well known.

no has even heard of this Palin woman

  6. they do get it...they just dont want to admit it..they know defeat is in hand...

like your screen name..now i know why i'm smiling..

  7. I sure don't get it.

  8. The problem is, they do.  And they are scared

  9. I think the Dems are shocked.  Obama dissed Hillary by not choosing her and now here's the payback.  Palin will not only make conservatives happy, but also us Clinton democrats who think that Obama is far too liberal.

  10. You are probably confusing conservative Democrats with your question.  Not all conservatives are Republicans.  No all Republicans are conservative.

  11. Of course you are right. The dems are so d**n self-centered that they think everything is about them. Well, it isn't and palin is one brilliant choice......

At her press conference she spoke in terms of we whereas obama in his acceptance speech only used the word "I".

  12. No they don't get it.

  13. No, you're right, the Democrats don't get it.....yet!  Wait until the polls start reacting.  Wait until Palin starts working with God backing her up.   This pick brings newness, change, and conservatism to the Republican side of the ticket.

I'm excited about the Republican ticket again, because we have a chance to finally have a godly woman running this country.  If John McCain were to be elected President and finishes his two terms, I think that Palin would then be in a great position to win the presidency.

  14. well, i won't be so reluctant, when voting for Mr. McCain, now.  HOWEVER---(don't you hate those "howevers"?)she needs to be vetted....she's a relative unknown, and i'm still researching her.  she does seem to have a consistent conservative voting record...but there's other "things"  i'd like to know...and i'd like to find them for myself.

    but so far, so good.

  15. Hahahahaha! Good luck with your little wanna be miss America, small town governor! You just keep trying to convince yourself that it will be ok! I feel sorry for yall because he really screwed you!
