Where abouts in the world have you been skiing? Resort? Mountain Range? How good?

I've been to Sierra Nevada near Truckee in California... About 15 resorts there and Northstar was a great resort.. lots of snow and tasty lunch !

  1. I've been to every major resort in Utah and they're all great.  I'm hoping to get to go to Denver sometime in the next few years to try out their snow.  my dream is to go heliskiing in alaska though.

  2. Me and my family fell in love with Creasted Butte, Colorado. It's about 4 hours away from Denver. It got a butt load of snow there and has great skiing. It also has very good food. If you go make sure you go into town and go to Secert Stash. It is THE best gourme pizza ever!!!!!!! And you sit on floor tables!!!! It's a small town but you'll fall in love.

  3. go to steamboat colorado, it has "champaign" snow...not a lot of water in the snow so it's light and fluffy...

it's also not as busy as vail/breck/winterpark...

although, beware, it's is touristy, so there are a lot of sucky people on the runs...

  4. i live in alaska so i go to alyeska all the time. Its a pretty crapy resort but its pretty much the only resort in alaska. the conditions are unpredictable and there are hardly any runs. but i still love it there.

i went to keystone and i loved it there it wasnt that big but the weather was wonderful everyday and loved all the runs.

breckenridge was also amazing and i loved it there also.

beavercreek was alright not my favorite but it was pretty nice.

i went to vail and i liked it a lot.

and my favorite place was whistler omgsh its so big!

  5. I live in Australia so ive been to thredbo

  6. Whistler/ Blackcomb in BC, Canada is an excellent resort.

  7. Ive been 2 France to a tiny place called alpe d'heuz its near ish to the airport at grenoble its got an ice rink sports centre and cinema good restruants, an arcade, shops, good hotels and great skiing. its good for any level of experience and age with a pretty even amount of begginer, intermediate and expert runs one other good thing is it isnt a massive resort so you will never find the piste fullto the brim, the snow is pretty good but if you leave it to the easter break its a bit sluchy i would recomend janurary i went then, no kids about and empty pistes! another bonus is this resort also has a snow park for the more expierienced skiiers and boarders.
