  1. No. I'd rather not die just yet but I don't fear death, and I guess I have shown this with my love of mountaineering, riding motorbikes, climbing tall trees etc.

If I'm wrong and there is a god, why would I be afraid of death? There's nothing I can do one way or the other.

  2. No. No. Thank you.

  3. i fear death, but that only makes me  to value life even more. No i don't fear that i could be wrong.

  4. No and no. We can both be wrong though. There could be a deity we have never heard of.

  5. nope. fearing death is like fearing breathing; everyone has to do it.  and nope because i think that religion is a figment of imagination.  jesus did not preach about h**l, it was derived from people retelling his story so that more people will convert which led to the creation of the current idea of h**l.

  6. no i fear it being painful  but what comes after will not change if i worry or not.  i feel i have been a good person and if he is so wonderful he will forgive not believing, if he can forgive people who kill and hurt kids and so many other horrible other things  i think we will be forgiven too.

  7. I was raised Christian, so there is still a voice in the back of my head telling me "what if this is all a test?"- but my rational side drowns that voice. No I'm not afraid of death, it is inevitable and it means that you will finally be at peace.

  8. No, "the only one who fears death has not yet lived!" Nathaniel Branden

  9. "Fellow atheists, do you fear death?"

I'm not looking forward to it, but I wouldn't call it fear.

"Do you ever fear that you could be wrong?"

About the whole "I don't think any gods exist" thing? Meh, which god exists?

  10. No and no.

Even if I did, I doubt it would push me toward theism. I don't make fear based decisions and I know emotions don't make the unreal real or vice versa.

  11. P'shaw!

Lady, I'm a genius.  I don't believe in God, so I'm a genius who CANNOT be wrong.  That's what we atheists like to call LOGIC!

    I'm Atheist!

  12. why fear a certain conclusion?

    no

  13. Once, I thought that I might be wrong, but...

    I was merely mistaken.

  14. noone enjoys the pain of it but beyond this life something better waits for those who are prepared..

  15. No and I'm not worried.

  16. I've been dead once already, so I don't fear it.

Do I fear I could be wrong?  Not really.

And the way you formed the question, I doubt you're really and Atheist.

  17. yes i fear death

no i dont fear that i coudl be wrong about the religious god not being possible

  18. I don't particularity look forward to it, and I certainly don't look froward to a painful death.  But I don't fear death itself, and I can see that eventually it will be quite welcome in another 50 or so years.
