Question

i just bought a new scotty cameron studio putter for 240 at a pro shop. would you say its a good deal? im sure its new as it had the wrapping on the grip and the head had no scratches. whatdya think?

i got the scotty cameron newport 2 for about the same price in ebay. check it out there, and compare the price. Check for a new scotty in ebay though, cuz there are big price differences.

It'll be worth that much money if the putts fall for you. I've putted good with $10 putters. It's all about what works, not looks or price, Billy Baruu!

better practice with it often and rip your game with it...thats alot for a putter bud :P

Yes and no. For a scotty you paid about what the rest do. between 200-400. So for a scotty you are on the lower end. I would say my ping G5i is better for me though at 114.99. So i would say I got a good deal. The only way to tell what kind of  a deal you got is if it takes strokes off of your handicap. If it takes 3 strokes every round, then it was worth it. If you save only one, it was not. If you save two, its your call buddy.

if you spent that much on a putter you better sink every putt inside 25 ft. or you got ripped

Thats alot of money for one club. But if you really like the club and are confident with it, then its a good buy for you. It doesnt matter what other people think

240 for a putter of this quality good deal . most used club in the bag . always been confused why people spend 600 to go deeper into the rough and spend 15 on a putter never will understand that one . good deal all around
