Felt embarressed in a good way see ? below?

Question

I went to an ice cream store and my husband waited outside and I asked a guy and the people he was with if he was being helped on line.

He smiled and said you go ahead darling and I looked down at my wedding rings. He had such polite manners I asked him where he was from and he said down south.

It was so nice to be addressed in such a polite manner, my questions are these was it wrong for me to like that even though I am married? and was it wrong for me to ask him where he was from? He addressed someone next to him and said she was from the same state I was.

It just felt nice to be recognized by someone of the opposite s*x because I am over a size 14 and many times I am treated indifferently or people judge me thinking I eat all day long which is not the case.

What is your take on this?

there's nothing wrong with your liking that.

i think your reading way into it.. or course it feels good to have a guy flirt with you.

but your married now.. and you really shouldn't be flirting back.. that just leads into worse things..

people like attention, that is natural. but it's not wrong, as long as you are not having fantasies about him when you're with your husband, and it was nothing more than a simple gesture that made you feel good from someone of the opposite s*x, then that is fine..

well no its not at all wrong... anything is wrong when you like a person more than your husband which is not so in your case... he was being nice and you got back nicely and its over...

I understand why he allowed you to go on in line but don't understand the thing about your wedding rings. he didn't ask you out, he was just being nice.

I lived in the North and I have lived in the south. The people from the south are much more friendly (no offence to anyone). and much more polite and considerate.

Of course, there's absolutely nothing wrong with him. It's not like you were attracted to the stranger. And you were perfectly polite. It's nice to be treated like a lady by men other then your husband.
