Female/Female Duets For Soprano and Mezzo Soprano?

Musical theatre???

My best friend and I are a duet.  She's a soprano, I'm a mezzo. We both have pretty big ranges though, so we do alot of alto stuff too.

We love muscial theatre.  Here's some of the things we've done.

1)I Still Believe- Miss Saigon ( beautiful song, mezzo parts)

2) Ti Moune- Once on this Island (This is actually a trio with the father in the show, we turned it into a duet by making the father's parts part of the mother's too, it worked well.)

3) By My Side- Godspell (one of my favorites. More alto/ soprano)

4)Some Things are Meant to Be- Little Women( absolutely gorgeous piece)

5) The Dark I know Well- Spring Awakening (lower)

6)Why Did We Ever Leave Ohio?- Wonderful Town

7)Who WIll Love me as I am?- Sideshow (more belty)

8) Angel of Music- Phantom (the meg and christine one.)

9) A Boy Like That/ I have a Love- West Side Story( ANita's part is very low, Maria's very high)

10)Statues and stories- Light in the piazza

All those are great!  We've done a lot of classical, too

My favorite being

1) Danny Boy ( we found a beautiful duet version)

2) Homeward Bound (very simple, very sincere)

3) Pur Ti Miro, Pur Ti Godo (Wonderful Italian piece)

4)Panis Angelicus  ( great for weddings)

5) The pRayer ( one girl has to take the guy part up the octave, nice for high soprano and mezzo)

6) Ave Verum Corpus
