I Believe I have a yeast infection. I've never had one before but I've read the symptoms and have all of them. Also, My period is 5 days late. I tested for pregnancy yesterday and it came back negative. I'm cramping and my breast are sore , as usual PMS. Can a yeast infection cause an interruption to your menstrual cycle?

  1. I have never heard of a yeast infection having an impact on your period but worrying can.  If you are stressed out about the yeast infection you can be making your period late.

  2. I wouldnt think it would interrupt, but it could be a side effect.

Try some Monostat 7 to get rid of it quick...its sold in the Rx section of about every store.  Like Walmart or Walgreens etc

    No Rx needed.
