  1. the chirping noises are coming from your bird.. unless you have a male and female those eggs do not and never will contain baby birds..

it's usually best to remove them, from what I know.. which you might be best to do with a glove on depending on how aggressive she gets when you try to take the eggs..

we only stopped removing them when we had a bird that wouldn't stop laying eggs, at which point the vet said to try and leave them to stop her from laying more since she was losing a lot of calcium.. she got really nasty about it eventually, too.. we had to put her in her other cage to get the eggs out without almost losing a finger..

  2. Does she have a male to insure fertility? If not they aren't fertile, remove box and eggs.If there is a male, don't bother them. When were the eggs laid? When the babies hatch,if they do,mommas can kill the babies if you mess with the box.The parents will throw them out of the box.Not always, but why risk it. If all goes well you will see the babies out of the box in about 2 weeks after hatching.

  3. it's ok to look into the nesting box with a small pen light. that's what we did when our parakeets laid eggs. dont shine it in there for very long because the babies have really sensitive eyes. we checked on the baby once every day just to see it's progress and we let the mother do all the work.

if this is her first clutch, it probably wont survive. i dont know if your bird will do this, but our bird just threw it out with the rest of the eggs after the baby died. if your bird doesnt do this then you'll have to clean the nesting box out by hand before you let them lay another clutch (they'll begin to mate right away after the first clutch is out of the nesting box).

the 2nd clutch survived for us. if they arent successful at raising babies the 2nd time, you should take the nesting box out for awhile and let the birds rest. overbreeding the birds can make them weak and could possibly kill them.
