Female football players in TN High Schools???

Question

My youngest daughter has played youth football for 3 years now. She's in the 5th grade and will start tackle this year. She loves it! Before anyone says GIRLS DON'T PLAY FOOTBALL save your breath, don't even bother. We know all the risk and I'm nt going to tell my girls they can't do something just because they are girls. She is a really good players and loves the sport. She is just wondering of there are any girls that are currently playing football in Tennessee, we live here. Her and a friend are the first girls to play tackle @ the middle schools they go to, and I'm proud of her for going after what she wants. So like I said you don't agree with our choice that's fine. But she is our daughter and it is OUR Choice.

well i play hs football in texas and when i was in middle school there was a girl playing for a team in are district. but i dont think girls are allowed to play football in high school cuz they would probly get killed

Girls will find it more difficult to compete in High School the boys start to mature physically and the hitting gets more intense.  I grew up in a rural area where we had a couple of girls who were athletic and played with the boys until high school then it was obvious they could not compete.

I used to live in ohio and girls were usualy highschool kickers.
