I've used to wear my eyeliner really thin and chucky, when I was in high school and wanting to look "gothic".

now I cant do it think and pretty.

I want it dark, but a thinner line, do I need to use liquid eyeliner? wont that just go into my eyeball?

I feel like if I put it on my actualy eyelid and not just under my lash line, it just goes away.

help?

any eyeliner tips are great.

  1. eye pencil is still good for making a thinner line just use really short strokes. liquid eyeliner is really good but you have to let it dry after you do it and then it will stay put.

  2. if you don't want to use liquid eyeliner, just use black eyeshadow& smudge it into your lash line, use normal roller eyeliner on your bottom if you want, then finish it off with mascara. it's not a "goth" look, just a kind of mysterious darkness.

  3. use a pencil and stick it between both lis and run it along the area it makes a  nice line on both the top and bottom

  4. just make the pencil really sharp

  5. Jane Gel Liner is a great alternative to liquid. Not as messy, and easy to apply. Walgreen stores and such have it!

  6. get an eyeliner brush. its really thin so it works really well. plus you can just use it with whatever color eyshadow.

  7. follow these step

1-Prepare a cake liner or a dark eye shadow by applying a small amount of water to your brush. Or, if you're using a pencil eyeliner, ensure that you've sharpened the pencil adequately.

2- Move the wet brush gently through your cake liner or dark shadow. Hold the brush or pencil as you would hold a pen.

3-Tilt your head back slightly and bring your eyes to a half-open state. This creates a good angle for application, while allowing you to see what you're doing.

4-Draw a line across the upper lid just above the lashes, from the inside corner to the outside corner of the eye. If you're using liquid liner, allow it to dry before opening your eyes all the way, or the color may transfer into the crease of your eye.

5-Line the lower lids. Moving from the outside edge inward, draw a line on the outer two-thirds of the lid or more, depending on the look you're going for. Your line should be slightly thicker at the outside corner, becoming thinner as it moves in toward your nose.
