Is wearing a tampon while posting ok? Like... does it hurt or feel weird or something? I ride English and we probably won't jump or canter or anything. The lesson is 45 minutes long and it takes about 10 minutes to get there... So it would probably be a few hours before I could change it....

  1. If the tampon is inserted correctly, you should not even notice it, even when jumping.  If, while you are jumping, it gets uncomfortable, it may be that the tampon has filled up and needs to be changed.

  2. You should be fine.Don't worry about it.For a little extra security, use a panty liner too. It doesn't feel weird at all.

  3. Wear a panty liner too, and make sure the string is tucked to one side (it can rub you raw, in delicate places, if it's in the wrong area).

  4. Honestly, It doesnt hurt or feel werid.  :)  Good luck.

  5. It wion't hurt, but I would wear a panty liner or very thin pad underneath just in case of any kind of leakage. You definitely wouldn't want to wear a pad because it would show through your riding pants. Also try to bring an extra and leave it in your riding locker or with a friend so that you can change it before you leave.

  6. It is okay.

    It doesn't hurt.

Sometimes it may feel a bit odd, but you will be fine since you aren't jumping or cantering around.

You will be fine don't worry.

  7. it feels fine in my opinion better then a pad they ride up and i hate them a tampon is much more comfy you dont feel a thing. just wear a panty liner and u'll be fine. =)

  8. dont worry you dont even feel it

its totally ok but wear a pad also because having your legs so wide (lol that sounds wrong, sorry) you want to make sure you dont bleed through your pants or onto the saddle.

  9. Having ridden English (Hunter/jumper and dressage) throughout my fertile years, I never felt any pain wearing tampons while riding.   I would be more concerned about a pad slipping.

  10. I dont think it could hurt you permanantly, or anything, but i would just wear a thick pad. Less pain.  I hope that helps.
