  1. NO

actuwally yesturday I got another female mouse,

she was much smaller compaired to the other one.

I had my other one since april.

Story-I was on the computer and heard a noise and sound from one of the mice I walked down nervously to find the bigger mouse tackle the other mouse, mice CAN be aggressive but sometimes sweat.

I ran upstairs and got my mom and we seperated them and sadly I plan to return the new one.

sure it is always fun to see your little mousie get a friend but keep in mind mice are VERY teratorial.

if you plane to have more then one mouse get them at the same time,

or if you get another at another time watch them for three hours or around the older ones bedtime.

my older mouse got mad because the new one was sleeping where it always slept.

    This is true!!!!

  2. Yep, should be fine. Mice are social animals, and two females should get along great.

  3. Mice are nocturnal and very social. They will be very active in the evening and night, but don't expect to do much with them during the day. Being social, they are best kept in groups. A pair of females is the easiest, although larger groups are fine if you provide the cage space. Pairs of males should be avoided, unless they are litter mates, never separated, and given a large enough cage that they can have their own space (unfamiliar males are very likely to fight).

  4. Yes, female mice's can get along once they get used to each other. Introduce the mice outside the cage first and see how they get on. If they don't fight try this: clean the cage you are going to put them in very well (to get all the 'mouse' smell off it) and then put the female mice in the cage together at the same time. As this cage has been cleaned it should be neutral territory and therefore the female mice should not fight. If they do fight you might want to consider housing them in different cages.

  5. i have a few mice books and almost everywhere says that female mice are better in pairs then males cause they fight, have a big odor and odor is something alot of people dont like. females are calmer and easier to train and get along great. but they will fight once and a while my two female fancy mice get along all the time and they do have occasional fighting but they dont like being separated.

and they wont hurt each other normally. so they should be fine.

  6. of course its ok, just make sure they like sure before you plop the newcomer in with the other mouse. it is not ok to put two males together though

  7. I have 3 fancy female mice and they all work well together. They have never attacked each other so it's fine.

  8. I have kept several female mice together when the cage was adequate enough without problems. You shouldn't have a problem unless they are from a seperate litter or placed together when they are unknown to each other. Even then theyusually accept the company after a few days.
