How do you get your breastmilk to dry up when not breastfeeding any more? i have milk in one breast and not the other one is that okay?

  2. It depends how long ago you gave up breastfeeding. I gave up about 10 weeks ago, I still get milk out of one breast. Once your body has produced milk once, the hormones are always there for it to produce again. It does take longer than you'd think to dry out completely, I was expecting it to go after a few days like it does when your milk first comes in! As long as you're not really swollen or in pain, it will sort out in its own time. If you think its going on too long or you start developing signs of mastitis, see your doctor.
