  1. American men had few rights too. They had the right to vote, but few had the education to read the political literature and did not vote. American men fought and died for freedom and the vote. American women baked cookies while men were fighting.

It was American men who gave American women the vote and it is high time women start to show appreciation.

  3. I think many history books refer to them as the 4 H's, 'H' symbolizing the horse; as it was believed a man would ride and tame his horse in a similar fashion as he would his woman.

If I remember correctly, the roles were:'Have s*x, make sandwicHes, raise cHildren, and shut the h**l up'.

-- As we see somethings have gone far awry over the passage of time.

  4. Women in the 1800's did not have: the right to own property: to divorce; and basically their husbans had the legal right to beat them. Sounds like a lot old chivelry, don't you think? Tell me, you want to go back to those tight fiting clothes that displaced your abdominal organs, so you can look prim and proper!

  5. Did you know that an African -American man that spoke to or touched a white woman in the 1800's could be whipped or even lynched?...did you know that a Native American male In the 1800's could NOT vote....did you know that many Mexican-American males were robbed of their land and disenfranchised from the electorate [My great- grandfather being one of them] many poor white males suffered as well....don't let this pathetic educational system brainwash you... ALL people [except for a very few ]suffered back then.
