Today was the first time i had s*x

We used protection, He used a condom

Its hurt a little at first, but soon got comfortable after that..

I bled a little bit after that. Is that normal?

I am 16 and want to go on the pill

Just in case, i have told my mum could i go on it

because of my period. They are really bad every month

I'm in so much pain, Last time i fainted! And hit my head badly..

I haven't told my mum i have been thinking about s*x,

she would absolutely KILL ME!

But i dont want to go behind her back and go on the pill

and i hear that its not a good idea as it CAN cause blood clots.

And i dont want to worry thinking weather my next period is going to come or not?Although he used a condon and everything went fine

i still have this though at the back of my mind that i could be pregnant... What should i do, any sugestions please

  1. Try Planned Parenthood if in the US.

Also, maybe try talking to your mom about going on birth control to treat acne (if you have any) or to help with mood swings during your period. I am guessing that at least trying to talk to mom and taking it from a different angle might be better than having to deal with telling her your pregnant or have some type of infection. Good for you for using a condom and keep up with that even if you go on the pill.  Good Luck!

  2. I like how you wrote this like it was a poem :)

The pill can cause blood clots amongst loads of other horrible things (weight gain, certain cancers etc), also the pill is not 100% so you would probably still worry anyway.  I think you should just keep using condoms you will (or should) know when something goes wrong with a condom, everyone worries that they're pregnant when they first start having s*x.

Go see the doctor about your periods.

  3. Yes.

If it was your first time having s*x then it was normal to bleed.

He just broke your hymen [completely normal]

I think you should tell your mom you're thinking about going on the pill just in case you have any questions you can just easily ask her.

She might be disappointed a bit but I'm pretty sure she will be MUCH more happy that you told her and didn't do it behind her back.

If you used a condom and it didn't break then don't worry you aren't pregnant you're just paranoid and its normal.

  4. please don't think going on the pill (while an improved form of contraception over a condom alone) is the only thing you should do to protect your health.

NEVER have s*x without a condom.  EVER.  is it worth your life?  women are 4x likely than men to get aids thru intercourse with an infected partner.

  5. if the condom didn't break your fine, and even if you get on the pill still use condoms b/c you don't want to catch STD's

  6. It's normal. It becomes less uncomfortable as you gain experience.

  7. If you remaind a virgin till you got married then you wouldn't have to worry about this.

  8. You were sensible and used protection so the likelihood of you being pregnant is miniscule. You know many women go on the pill for health reasons, not just as a form of contraception. Talk to your mum about your periods and ask her to take you to the doctors to see what your options are, your dr will probably put you on the pill. You can't go on fainting with pain on your period. Remember if you do go on the pill still keep using the condoms as they give you some protection from STIs and its also another protection from pregnancy xx

  9. the bleeding is perfectly normal for your first time and it is caused by the breaking of the hymen, if you are on the pill and he used a condom it is very unlikely that you are pregnant, i would also like to say how refreshing it is hear of teens practising safe s*x.

  10. Keep using protection!!!  I'm glad your one of the very few smart teenagers out there.  At the age of sixteen it is way normal to think about s*x and I think an open conversation with your mom will help reduce the anxiety you are having since she's been through it all.  Besides birth control think about STDs and make sure both you, although your first time, and your boyfriend gets tested for everything under the sun.  Yes there is a risk of blood clots with bc, but mainly for women over 35 and women who smoke.  When you begin birth control make sure you take it at the same time every day or within two hour, for example if you take it at 3pm today try to take it at 3pm tomorrow or you can take it two hours before or after.  Missing pills and taking them at random times will decrease the effectiveness

  11. o well u should defenitly go on the pill i am 16 too and well i went on the pill before i had s*x so i woulndt get pregnant my mom doesnt know but u have to go to ur doctor and ask him the best one for u!!
