Females and triops (girls only)

Question

to girls only............. triops, when they are yours do they look nice? i really want them but when i look at there legs it kinda freaks me out! so just want to know would they be worth the money?? and when you run of of food what do you feed them then?heres a video to show there legs!

Yeah I love them!

It's different when you hatch your own triops because you see them grow from 1mm, to adults.

I think you should get some :)

And yeah, they are definately worth the money!

why girls only? ?

there quite interesting, that setup is more for someone who knows what there doing. you can buy them as a kit, and you will get eggs. buy them off of ebay, you can get a whole kit.

Hi, i've got sea monkeys which are really simalar. Sea monkeys are great, There are so many cool items you can buy for them: Sea diamonds, muscel growth, Medicine. They were deffinetly worth the money. The legs are kinda freaky but you'll get used to it! :)

I had a some of these from a kit you can buy from places like argos, it came with a small "tank", food, eggs etc and all I had to do was add bottled water.

They were quite cool but they did all fight until only the biggest was left, but you can breed from them easily so you never have to run out of eggs.

I know what you mean about them looking freaky but they are quite cute aswell, if you put your finger in the tank with some food on the end they will come and "hug" your finger with their legs as they filter the food off it and the legs feel really quite soft.

You could feed them on grated carrot and bits of fish if you run out but I don't think its a balanced diet. See: http://www.triops.com/index.php?link=faq...

Wow, never heard of them before...pretty cool looking little things,  the food sounded rather inexpensive and easy to find.  I think my kids would love them....great conversation piece.
