Females in K-9 unit Possible???

Hey can anyone tell me if females can be apart of the K-9 unit? Or is it a male job only????

There is absolutely no bona fide occupational qualification barring females from this work, therefore, to exclude them from the K-9 unit would be unlawful discrimination.

Any officer with enough experience can apply to be a K-9 officer.  The gender roles of 20+ years ago means nothing now.

yes they can
