Females or Males??????

Who do you think has it easier these days in society females or males?

why?

Males.

Patriarchal society!

Women have to work twice as hard as men to be thought half as good.

And that's because women criticise themselves ten times more than men do.

Statistically speaking, males have higher pay (even for the same position), have more political influence (politics is definitely male dominated), and just socially males have been viewed as more valuable (popular religions portray males as deities or somehow regarded above women). So, although women are not exactly oppressed anymore, males still have the advantage ingrained into our society.

I actually believe both genders have it very hard in today's society.  Males, traditionally the 'bread winners' of the family, find themselves more and more often unable to provide for their families solely on their salaries.  With rising prices, a tanking housing industry, and unemployment rates soring, men feel the stain of providing for their families more than ever.  That being said, women still live in a world were theirr value in the work place is often less then their male counterparts.  Additionally, while many woman are being called on to work outside of their homes, they are still expected to maintain their homes, feed their families and nurture their children as if they were still stay at home moms.

The pressure both genders feel is enormous and we would do well to realize the stressor's on our counterparts.
