  1. before you even start the bike..... learn to operate the brakes, clutch and shifter.. you need to have them down cold.... have someone call out the different levers shift up /down front brake rear break and so on randomly... do this till you have them down pat....dont forget to pull in the clutch when stopping.    once you are confident light up the bike and simply work on moving forwarrd a few feet and stopping without stalling. dont bother trying to turn. once you have that down try big wide turns in either direction. baby steps you will not be pulling 30 foot gaps in a week just take your time and enjoy learning

  2. yeah take it slowly you don't want to rush like i did years back thinking you know everything and get very injured and i do mean serious injuries. make sure you have all necessary safety equipment because you will regret not having the equipment and it will hurt! but again take it slowly. i mean learn to start the bike then work your way up from there. and i have met "Boys not blonds" that did not know how to start the bike and they were not little kids either. but yeah good luck

  3. just get a feel off the bike and how to work things like the clutch i've been riding since i was 4 now im 12 and i ride a 100cc honda though i might be gettin a 120 soon and i just took it slow and got a feel and my dad helped me too my whole family bikes we all started out just learning the controls then riding up and down our roads

  4. Well you should first just budget out your money. Buy the small stuff first and purchase a bike. Motocross cost an arm and a leg. But while you do that you should try it first and make sure that you practice. Get a hands on experience first and see if its right for you. Then if your committed then buy things. It seems like that you have to buy it all at once, but DON'T!!!! You might not have the right bike and that could just cause bigger problems. So don't worry it will happen. I'm investing right now.

  5. well if you want some tips im going to give them to you.

im a 13 year old from texas. i ride a honda cr85 and i race localy and have done a few texas series ive ben riding since i was like 5. any way before you take it to the track you should get a hang of the clutch thats a verry important tihing. if you dont i t will die on you and you will get stuck by your self. once you take it to the track  you should focus on cornors as you go into the cornor APEX sit on the fron of the bike almost on the tank and gun it about half way through the cornor. you dont have too use the clutch but i do. next is jumping. before jumping make shure your in the right gear. if your nose of the bike is in the air dont freak out just stand up always and let off the throttle and slam your brakes in the air. if you need more tips just ask

    HOPE THIS HELPSS.
