I wear make-up because I like to add a bit of color to my face. What about you?

I wear it mostly to cover my redness and enhance my eyes - it makes me feel "prettier" and I have higher self-esteem. When I don't wear makeup I feel a bit sluggish and lazy.

Well, it makes me that little bit more confident. I also find make-up fun. Thats it.

Generally I only wear eye makeup and a tinted foundation.

But with my eyes I like experimenting with crazy colors because it's fun. You only get to  live once and it's not like I can wear neon green eye makeup in the business world! So I do what I can now so I don't regret it later on =]

I wear foundation and concealer to cover up pimples and the dark circles under my eyes (I don't sleep very much).

Also... well, I wish I could say that I only wear it because it's fun and I want to, but I've been wearing makeup for so long that I don't feel I look good enough without it.

I'm trying to break myself out of that kind of thinking since I don't think a woman should have to wear makeup to look good and feel confident.

That being said, I do enjoy wearing makeup. I like experimenting with different colours and styles and I like the way a few little changes (black liquid eyeliner and red lips, say) can be so dramatic and fun.

I love makeup, so even if I felt confident without it I think I'd go on wearing it just for the fun of it.

because im 16 years old, i have acne scars and my skin is a mess and wearing make up makes me feel more confident. If i dont like looking at my messed up skin, why would i let other people

A little make up is just part of my routine, tinted moisturiser, blush, lip gloss, mascara - I only wear more and play with colours on nights out.

Occasionally I'll go completely bare but I think I look more alive with a little help!

The same as you - to add colour to my face. During the week, I just put a bit of lippy on to brighten my face up, but on a night out I put the works on!

I wear mascara because my eye lashes arn't really dark, theyre brownish black and then get really light at the ends. so the darker look makes it look better.

i don't really need makeup- i can live without it  im not a freak over makeup i look just about the same with or without it.

theres been mornings when i woke up late and gone to school and realized i didnt put any makeup on or brush my hair [embarrasing] but noone really noticed  i wasn't wearin makeup

i dont like a lot of makeup,  i use a bit of tinted moisturiser, a flick of mascara and a quick brush of blusher (due to my pale complexion), thats it, it makes all the difference!

I wear makeup because I like how I can downplay my "flaws" and play up my best features. Like I can make my eyes look bigger and brighter and even out my skin. And I think makeup is fun! Especially eye makeup. It's like art! It's amazing how many different colors there are and how you can blend them together to be something different and beautiful.

I also like to wear a light powder foundation to hide some blotches :(

oh and I have to use eyebrow pencil, as I have a scar, which means I need eyeshadow.

Lipgloss finishes it off. lol

to even up my skin tone? They are of different colour and is rather frustrating. Also I think make up sometimes shows more respect, a more formal appearance and sort. Of course, illusion of bigger eyes, sharper features etc!

i have a school-proof make-up routine:

light powder on face to even out blotches,

heavy black eyeliner,

Finished with a nice shiny lipgloss!!

I only wear mascara, and I find that it just changes your whole face without making your skin bad, which people tend to do by using loads of other make-up.
