  1. I don't know what you are talking bout....fem is about equality not about g*y or straight, rich or poor, etc.

  2. Some people do argue that cultural factors affect the likelihood of coming out as g*y, bisexual etc.  In the Roman era, love between men was much more widely touted and approved of, and so there were many more of what we might call same s*x romances.  In many parts of the world today, where being g*y is illegal / punishable by death you will find almost no g*y relationships - the fact is, many people have feelings for the same s*x, whether or not they admit to them or explore them depends to a huge degree on the cultural environment, so in that respect, the prevalence of homosexuality could be very closely connected to cultural factors :-)

  3. Hmm I didn't know they thought that. How interesting. I think it's all DNA and NURTURE.

  4. I haven't heard any feminists argue that.  The differences between men and women are biological and undeniable.  However, there are plenty of "masculine" and "feminine" behaviors that can be attributed to nurture rather than nature, such as a preference for sports over ballet.  We are trained in these areas from the cradle on.

  5. thats complete bullshit, why do little girls generally prefer to play with dolls, toy houses and tea pots etc. and boys generally prefer rougher activities....there in a HUGE difference between female and male mentality and the gap widens further when each of the sexes hits puberty.

but there is no complete male or female, there are only intermediate forms...each person man or woman must be treated as a unique individual and should not be judged and categorized based on the possesion of either a p***s or a v****a.

  6. I suppose the opposing view would be biological differences (a priori vs. posteriori factors).

What I find contradictory, is that they stand behind homosexuals when they say "I was born this way(meaning that it was biological)", yet turn around and say that humans don't have biological reasons for gender. Perhaps there is a rebuttal of this, as I've never discussed or debated this with anyone.

  7. Even a feminist with only half a brain knows the difference between a man and a woman.

Trouble is that the feminist "theorists" and the feminism bosses live in some kind of twilight world of unreality.

  8. I'd say transsexuals are the answer to this question. People who grow up under perfectly normal circumstances, socialized in their birth s*x, and yet are aware (usually around age 5 or younger) that their minds do not match their bodies, and that they should have been born as the opposite s*x.

Gender does have biological components. How else would you explain one sibling growing up trans and the other being perfectly normal, and knowing this before they have any real concept of transsexualism?

The science isn't completely concrete as of now, but there is evidence that hormonal imbalances have significant influence over how someones gender develops in relationship to their s*x.
