  1. Its about power. Feminists would be in favor of worshiping ant hills, if it gave them more power.

Feminists want power, and yet are not willing to take on the additional responsibilities that come with power.

  2. We don't want to BE male. We want the same rights as males and to be treated exactly like males.

Why would we WANT to be masculine? That's no fun at all. And you're not as clever.

  3. Feminism is about fighting for equal rights and equal treatment for men and women. It's called "feminism" because in a society that inherited it's culture from patriarchal traditions (Christianity, British monarchies, etc), it's usually women who need to fight harder in order to get treatment which is given to men with no question.

It does not connote being feminine, it connotes fighting for the rights of women.

Only radical feminists (a tiny extremist minority, similar to the Westbaro Baptist Church) want to "equal male masculinity" in their personal appearance.

There are tons of s**y, hot feminists out there who aren't radicals and who don't want to look like guys.

  4. We don't. We want to be able to act however we please without worrying about how feminine or masculine it seems.

  5. If women want equal rights to a man then okay you can't say whatever you want about the opposite s*x without being attacked by everyone. You can have a harder time getting a job because your male and the company hasn't met it female quota. Honestly if you want to prove your equal (I believe you are) then why don't you condone the policies that are giving you advantages over men, prove your as good or better. I just think that you wouldn't want everything handed to you, by taking things away from other people who deserve it just as much. I guess sometimes as a male I feel like a second class citizen i.e. no freedom of speech, no equal funding for college etc.

  6. I don't want to attain or achieve masculinity. I want equality of opportunity, without certain positions (CEO, Senator, president) or opportunities (engineering, science) or behaviors (confidence, self-sufficiency, sexual freedom) being considered inherently "masculine."

  7. Male masculinity?  As opposed to female masculinity?

Actually, we don't want any kind of masculinity.  What we'd really like is to see femininity equated with strength, independence, and intelligence, as it should be.

  8. I don't understand the question.

Feminism does deal with issues to do with the feminine, which they want to be treated equally with the masculine.

    Where's the problem, again?

  9. Dear confuse asker,

Feminists don't want to equal male masculinity,  feminists want to equal human and civil rights.

In regarding to the first part of your question, I couldn't find the word "connotes" in any dictionary.  Could you please tell us what "connotes" means?

  10. Why is having equal opportunity (career, education, owning property) deemed masculine?

  11. They do??

  12. Feminism and Feminine are two separate things:

Feminism:  Belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.

Feminine:  Characterized by or possessing qualities generally attributed to a woman.

Nowhere in the political movement of feminism is it stated that it wants to equal "male masculinity." (Whatever that is.)

  13. LOL! Thank you for a great laugh. Now, English please.

  14. The first definition of feminine is "of or pertaining to a woman or girl."

Feminism is advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men, which has nothing to do with being "masculine."
