Feminist government minister proposes discrimination in favour of women, and vice versa???

Feminist Minister for Equality, Harriet Harman QC, has "has set out plans to allow firms to discriminate in favour of female and ethnic minority job candidates". But note the following: "She said firms should be able to choose a woman over a man of equal ability if they wanted to - or vice versa". Or vice versa?? So firms can discriminate in favour of men too???

Is this a typo, or has Harman finally decided that what is equality for women should be equality for men too? On the other hand if firms are allowed to choose who they want to employ, surely there will be anarchy?

  1. Not a typo. Firms can discriminate in favour of men if most employees are women.

  2. Its not a typo. We cant expect anything else from a femminist.

It says "The plans, which will be adopted in England, Wales and Scotland, will also ban all age discrimination. " - Thats about the only good I see in this.

"The new Equalities Bill will also force public sector employers to disclose the gender pay gap in their organisation." - Ok ! And then pay women the same wages that men get, but for LESSER WORK, and let all the men seethe and grumble. Nice !

  3. If the man and woman were equally qualified, pick the woman and offer her 27% less in salary. :)

  4. Kommissar Harman is one of those who came to power as a result of the Thatcher government's unprecendented unpopularity a few years earlier and because of the women-only list being operated.

Consequently, the Blair/Brown government came into power with a massive landslide majority. Mediocre candidates unexpectedly and undeservedly found themselves in power and Harman was one of those.

In the above circumstances the Blair/Brown continuum had and has no legitimacy.

Harman's proposals are undoubtedly a coup for the feminist supremacists who now run government.

Feminism was born out of violence and bloodshed and sadly the days are inevitably approaching when people will take a leaf out of feminist history and unleash waves of retaliatory violence.

  5. This has nothing to do with feminism or equality - it's just another example of the labour government cocking things up. All of our laws are a complete mess and most of them favour immigrants and persecutes victims.

The ethnic minority part of this has been happening for a while.

Just because several warped wierdos are running Britain don't assume that their views are feminists or any one elses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. If you have a man and a woman of equal ability and everything else, you'll still have to choose between one of them. You don't need any lawmaker to tell you that.
