  1. define pro-life first.

cause if it is about financially helping a woman raise that child she is pregnant with, then yeah i am pro.

but if it is about declaring abortion a crime and desperate women murderers then i am ”against-life”

  2. If they were personally pro-life, but had no interest in further legislating against abortion, I would consider it. If they wanted to overturn Roe, I would not.

  3. I'm not a feminist but no I wouldn't vote for someone who was pro life. Pro choice is what it is, CHOICE for each individual person to do as they wish. Pro life isn't pro life,. it's pro life for the fetus but not pro life for the parents.

  4. It's not pro-life, but anti-choice, as they usually forget about the kid once it's born.

I am in favor of preventing unwanted pregnancies by facilitating access to contraceptives.  Most folks who consider themselves pro-life oppose contraception.

I believe in caring for the children who have already been born.  That does not seem to matter to the anti-choice.  I once read a statistic that states with the most liberal reproductive rights policies do more to help poor families than states with stricter reproductive rights policies.  Pro-life, my patootie.

Oh, and there's more than one feminist, by the way.  And the answer is no, I would not vote for someone who is against a woman's right to decide when and if she becomes a mother.

  5. Yes. I don't really understand why a candidate's personal views on abortion seem to matter so much, because I can't see Roe vs. Wade being overturned any time soon. A pro-life candidate would probably put more effort into helping mothers and trying to reduce the number of abortions, without compromising legalised abortion rights. Best of both worlds, I think.

  6. Not unless the other candidate was certifiably insane.

    Example:

McCain and Palin Vs Ron Paul and his favorite hat.

I'd have to go with the McCain ticket.

  7. I'm a feminist who is pro-choice but has voted for someone that was pro-life. I tend to  vote with my wallet meaning I vote for someone who I can bring home a larger paycheck under which rarely means Democrat. Abortion is a surface issue. Only 25% of this country believes that abortion should be abolished and most politicians don't give a rats ash about it except to receive votes. If I truly felt that abortion had any chance of being over turned, I would vote Democrat but it always has been and always will be "LIP SERVICE" and nothing more.

  8. Never.

  9. NEVER because there is no 'pro-life' position - it is either pro-fetus, pro-woman or pro- balancing the rights of both.

If you are really pro-life you would not eat meat either or use leather products.  PETA can also call themselves pro-life.

  10. It would depend on a) what they were running for; b) how big an issue it is to them; c) if there's upcoming abortion legislature and d) if I agree with all their other policies and disagree a lot with the other candidates.

It is a very big issue for me but under certain circumstances I might consider it.

  11. Never!  Feminists oppose life from the very moment of conception and so we our handbook says we cannot support anyone who regards the unborn child as a living entity.  We don't care for the foetus as it stands in the way of our lives.

Oh, yeah, ummm...We don't hate men.

  12. Absolutely not. I also take issue with that wording; it is not pro life it is anti abortion. Pro choice is exactly what it says, your choice whether or not you want to have an abortion. Frankly, I find it appalling that any women would not be able to make her own decision whether or not to abort.
