  1. Don't care but you sure as h**l wouldn't catch me supporting those chicks.

  2. It's still women selling their bodies to whoever will buy. And, they write silly, stupid things that are supposed to be unique and suggestive. Just like all the other blonde haired s***s you see in the regular pornographic magazines.

  3. I find beauty in all women and these are no different...they express themselves differently than others and some people may not agree with it but they are, in fact, very lovely.  I try not to judge anyone considering I really don't have a right to and do not like it when someone does it to me.

    Peace

  4. Neither.  It's a legal job.  I don't give a d**n.  However, from what I've heard from them, it doesn't sound like such a great job.

  5. They did stuff for PETA so I have to respect them on that level. If it weren't for that I'd just think they're completely lame.

  6. My ex boyfriend was really into them - like obsessively into them. I'm a total prep, very dressy and trendy and would never get piercings or tattoos all over my body like those girls do even though I don't disaprove of them and find them to be cool. I would always wonder why he was with me.

Honestly, when I was looking at the webpage, the things the girls were saying as their hobbies, interests, and background (education, etc) didn't make me feel like they were positive role models in any way. Some of the girls swear non stop in their "blurbs" about them talking about how they live for s*x, like whips and chains etc and how they are obsessed with the site and their role models were other Suicide Girls. I find them to be annoying, washed up and unoriginal despite their best efforts to be original in every way. They all think they're so sweet and so "punk" and then list bands like "The Used" as their favorite. Are they kidding?

As a feminist, I can't say I support the Suicide Girls. I think that they are redefining what is beautiful and straying away from the media's portrayal of beauty which I find to be wonderful, but the things they say, their role models, etc. aren't something I could ever support. Most of them sound like a typical "ditz" in their profiles and I don't think that's an image that should be spread.

  7. i have mixed feelings. on one hand, i think it's neat that they're showing different body types/style, etc. however, it is still p**n and it still objectifies their models. the women have even filed lawsuits against the owner.

  8. I didn't even know they were real. I thought it was just something made up on CSI: New York. The concept is interesting, and they're a lot cuter than the usual fake-everything p**n girls, but it's still p**n, which I'm against. Overall, though, I'd say I lean more toward support than disapproval.

  9. A friend of a friend who is an SG says they aren't exactly the employer of your dreams, and yeah, they objectify women. So they're better than most T&A media, but they're not *good*.
