How surprising, a man writing a show in which women prefer to be treated in a sexist and stereotypical way for the purposes of airing a lot of tired old jokes in a fresh new setting.

In short, yes, they were, but it doesn't matter because this was not real life.

Those girls may never have equal rights, but the Cannonball runs on a different line now.

i love that show.  i thought all the girls were so pretty and i guess that's why most people watched the show.
