No one is stopping you, but of course it's unusual in some societies for men to wear skirts.

Contrary to what people say, not that many men in Scotland actually wear a kilt anymore. Just for occasions like weddings. They're not really practical anyway.

Well, I would have to say that it is because it is more acceptable in our society to act like a man than it is to act like a woman.  Think of the difference between the words tomboy and sissy.  A girl who runs and plays hard is likened to a boy and is given a grudging amount of respect.  A boy who perhaps plays with dolls or does something usually attributed to little girls is ridiculed.

Guys, go for it.  Your legs are as good as ours!

When a man wears "woman's" clothes, he is said to be "in drag".  It is so common for women to wear "men's" clothes, we don't even have a name for it.  Ironic eh?

Men CAN wear skirts in the US.  The Supreme Court has ruled that dress codes cannot be sexist.  Men don't wear skirts because the do not want to wear skirts..

Men can wear skirts if they want to. I'm sure its normal in many cultures. Its normal in ours for men to wear trousers but there is no law saying men cannot wear skirts. I would argue social pressure from men more than women make men think they cannot wear skirts if they want to. Its not the norm but it is accepted in some areas. I've seen many crossdressers, many don't accept it but many do. Don't blame feminists for your view that men can't wear skirts, its social/peer pressure holding men back as well as the fact that most men don't want to.

Men do have rights to wear skirts. They do it in different cultures around the world all the time.

But much of the reason it isn't acceptable for a man to wear a skirt in America today is homophobia: it's too "g*y." So if you're really intent on changing this, you can start by agitating for g*y rights and speaking out against anti-g*y hate and violence.

In many parts of the world men DO wear skirts or skirt like garments.

I wasn't aware it was feminists that were stopping men wearing skirts. Men should be able to wear what they want, just as women have more choice to do so. It is more acceptable in our society for women to act like men than it is for men to act like women. We are slowly changing though and in many areas it is acceptable for guys to wear womens clothes. This isn't a feminist issue.

There are a large range of reasons why men do not wear skirts; they don't want to, peer pressure, family pressure, religious pressure, etc. But there are no laws against men wearing skirts so they do legally have the right to do so if they wish. I couldn't care less if a man wore a skirt.

Look dude, if you want to cross dress, go right ahead. We don't have a problem with what you wear. But I don't think your boys will think highly of you if you do. They will give you more grief than we will.
