I don't really have a subservient side.

I am in love, though. I don't treat my love as though he is better than me or above me, but I do treat him like he's valuable, because he is. I do everything in my power to make sure he knows how s**y and brilliant I think he is.

For me, true love can only exist between people who treat and respect each other as equals and hold each other in the highest regard.  IMO, this has nothing to do with dominance/subordination.
