  1. Hm, are you implying that women who naturally want to work in these fields are 'abnormal'?

  2. No one should be "forced" into any profession.

Do what you want and are qualified for... that's what I say.

  3. No, just like "normal men" shouldn't be forced into jobs they don't wnat for equal representation.

  4. I believe that both sexes are equal but there are jobs that are much better suited to men. Police Officers, Fire men, physically demanding work.

  5. Many normal women want to be in "male" professions. Feminists do not force women to make the choice, they simply wish for them to have the choice to make. Part of this involbes encouraging people not to think of these as "male" professions (and vice versa with "female" professions) by imagining or showing a male or female doing that profession. This is not forcing someone to take part in this profession. It's preventing preconception.

  6. "Normal women?" Explain, please.

Women should be allowed to enter whichever field they choose if they prove to be qualified.

  7. some women may do that to prove a point. I am a feminist and I know i can do a "man's profession" (watever that is) as well as any man. However, i will not go around purposefully trying to do that just to prove a point. But "normal" women should not have to be forced to do anything to prove a point. regardless of who does wat, "gender roles" and inequality will ALWAYS exist even if there was a female president, firefighter, electrician, or watever.

  8. In my view - women deserve equal rights and equal opportunity.  Equal representation is neither....so I don't believe it applies.  If there is opportunity for them to follow those professions, but choose not to - no harm, no foul.  And certainly, no room for complaining about it - because the opportunity is there....

  9. Nope. Only if they chose to go there. No one should be forced to do anything they don't want to do. But women shouldn't be treated like simpletons simply due to their gender when they do enter a male-dominated field of their choice.

  10. Define "normal" women.

No, women should choose the jobs that they want.
