  1. To me, it seems as though the sexes are slowly establishing new roles. Young men seem to be pursuing manual labor careers due to a lacking performance in scholastic activity. While women are becoming more proficient in college.

Personally, this is neither a good or a bad thing. As time continues, the world changes and new paradigms are formed. The only thing that concerns me is the uneven distribution between the sexes and performing these types of tasks. Although, the most physically capable (which are usually men, though some women have physical prowess as well) would be ideal for manual labor. Men and women with a leaner build would be more suitable for college careers to balance those with greater physical strength. Though ultimately, it should be the individual's choice to decide a path for his or her self.

  2. it's no motive of satisfaction, it's a tragedy. but it's true nonetheless that male youths are more attracted by loud music, gangs, cars, bikes, it has to do with hormones and social dissolution, it's a bad sign.

  3. I don't. But I do wonder why, when universities were mostly all-male establishments, a lot of men had no problem with that. But now that the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly it's a tragedy that demands we "do" something about it.

In reality, keeping women out of colleges and universities was by force...women simply weren't allowed in.

Today, men are not blocked from university. They are simply choosing not to study hard enough to succeed in academics. No coersion necessary.

Are you in favor of "forcing" young men to study and go to college?

  4. I don't. Oh, and I don't think it's due to the education system. Boys are fine by GCSE levels. They are still getting university places - more than before (university applications have gone up) - they are fine, generally. I'm not even totally sure this is a genuine trend in junior school.

In fact, it's usually masculinists on here who like to say when a women does less well that it's a gender difference, and when a male does less well, the feminist system is pulling him down. Maybe some feminists do as well and I've just not seen it, but I've definately seen that quite often.

  5. I don't.

Part of the reason boys are falling behind is not that they're doing worse, but that the girls are doing better. (About 70 years ago the opposite was true, and nobody cared - everyone knew girls weren't as smart as boys, so it was only natural.)

If it keeps on, maybe many more women than men will be educated in two generations or so. If boys think of school and education as a  "girl thing", which they already do in some places, that's only going to make things worse.

  6. Clue is in the title, feminism.

If women were falling behind it would obviously be the fault of the "patriarchal" system but if its men then it must be cause they're just lazy

  7. We do?  Personally, I think it's sad.  Tutoring should be available for any student who needs it.
