Feminists, why do you use Yahoo Answers?

Question

It's not exactly a hotbed of intelligent discussion, unlike the blogosphere.... What do you gain from being here?

(aside from a renewed sense of how much men hate women)

men don't hate woman,they are very usefull, and satisfying, and soft. a lot of man haters get a charge out of thrashing your average guy

Interesting point.. some of the guys here are pure misogynists but I'm sure you weren't trying to say that to be anti-feminist is to be anti-woman.

I for one supported the first wave, I just utterly reject the concept of being equal for the sake of being equal achieved by unfair and inequitable means.

Sometimes you need to just have fun. I have no expectations about finding intelligent discussion here. In fact save for an occasional question I hope people will really show the sense of humor they have to keep in check the rest of their day.

Its like this.. as a kid I only watched the deepest, most intellectual movies.

As I have gotten older the rule is the "stupider" the better.

See it does not even bother me that "stupider" is not even a word. I am in a downward spiral intellectually.

The man- woman stuff-yeah its still important but it is also an education to see the range of attitudes in the world. Oh NO now you cut that out.!!!.. tricking me into being all serious.

We are still people, and we have as much right to be here as anyone else.  We do have other things in our lives besides feminism to talk about.

A lot of blogs I've seen are just intellectual masturbation. I prefer y!a because it provides more interaction, and for such a large community it's incredible how well one gets to know the different members of each section.

Also, a lot of blogs tend to attract the same sorts of people-- people who, though they might argue about certain things, have fairly uniform political views. I'd rather have a little more conflict.

I was just trying to get to Level 3.  In the other sections you have to do research.  Here, you can just give an answer off the top of your head.

You are right about the misogyny.  Some men just can't m********e and blame it on the women in the picture.  Then they come here to Yahoo Answers to vent their spleen on the larger world.
