Ok seriously this question is more for the women here who consider themselves feminists.

I find all the feminist rhetoric to be very limiting on your ablity to be free and open with a man. Feminism is so distrusting of men, how could you really have fun in the sack? It seems that it would be very mechanical and boring because you can't allow youself to get freaky and exploritory.

So honestly for those of you who are brave enough to admit it, how many times a week and how explostive is it??

  1. Speaking strictly as an egalitarian, I think quite the opposite happens. Most feminist women I know are not inhibited in the bedroom. They are the freakiest bunch of women I personally know MAINLY because the women's sexual liberation ties into feminism. A woman, even though she is still named, has the right to have as many s*x partners as she likes and can do with them what she wishes without the EXTREME fear many women had in the past.

Submissiveness tends to go along the lines of conservativeness but then again from your post I'm assuming you are a submissive wife who has copious amounts of s*x so from the looks of it we are both just generalizing an entire group of people based off of preconceived notions about the other.

I don't know, that's just my two cents on it.

  2. You mean as opposed to the Victorian mantra: "just close your eyes and think of England"?  Words of advice about s*x from mother to daughter.

I think you are not knowledgeable on the subject.

  3. You name it I've done it.  However I know YOU have me beat I cant say I'm trapped in a loveless marriage, and in love with a woman. (dont make me post YOUR Q)

feminism isnt against men nor do we distrust them.

  4. I like to express myself in any and every way possible especially through s*x. I find it to be quite an expressive experience between my casual partners or my romantic partners.

I have it at least 3 times on a bad week but then again I'm single so sexual prowess is something I can afford to be.

  5. Yes, but as I'm currently in a committed, monogamous relationship I get to do all my expressing with one person.

I've never heard that a person's politics could mean they become de-sexualised, but anything's possible.

However, I think most 'feminist' women I know are more relaxed about sexual matters than the non-feminists I know, if only because they have given the matter some actual thought.

    Cheers :-)

  6. If a woman believes men and woman are the same and is worried about who is dominating who it can make for uninteresting s*x, its a recipe for vanilla.

  7. 'How many times a week?' Why do you want to know that, are you worried you're not getting enough? :-)

Your thought processes are just bizarre anyway. To begin with, a feminist might be very sexually open with other women but not with men. And then you seem to think that because feminists believe in equal rights that they cannot take pleasure in a man's body? Hm.
