Question:

Fender American Standard Jazz Bass?

I am a beginning bass player, and I would like to get a new bass in time, however would not like to waste my money on an ok bass that isn't worth the money I paid for it. It also costs a lot to trade in basses for new ones, because you lose a lot of money in the process. Currently I am working with a Dean Edge 09, and I was thinking of buying a Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. I love it's sound, action, looks and the way it plays. Is this a good decision to upgrade to such an expensive bass? Any reviews on how anyone else feels about this bass would also be appreciated.

  1. Hey BassBass

That is a very smart move. i own an old fender and a '63 Gibson Les Paul  and never bought intermediate once I knew how to play.

The Fender American made, not the Mexican c**p, is a worthwhile investment and will only get better with thme, soundwise and moneywise.

I worked 17 years in the music wholesale business and have fixed Gibsons, Fender, etc...

    Best buy...very logical !!!
