Fender bender cars accident private parking?

i,my wife and my son 1 year lot were backing up from a parking lot and we drive pretty carefully.but the other old lady who backup her car so fast that we didn't even have the time to chane gear and move the car forward.our car broke (bumper dent and light ).the other ladies not even a scratch she had a tire in back which protected her car.she callled the cops too she was so harsh and she was racially profiling us .

There was this lady (witness)who gave her number because she heard us honking the car and stopping.some other guy was also nice saying that insurance would cover it.

but there was this other guy who came shouting at us and saying that do call cops and that.we she is yelling at us not us.he said i don't care then we said why are u interfering when u dont care then he went away

first thing ever happened to us i don't even know what should i be telling the cops to they wrote somthing from the old lady and they gave us a number thats it.police show us what he wrote

1. you can get a copy of the report from the police department or you can have your insurance company get it for you but from what you are saying this will be a 50/50 split meaning that both of you are at fault..

Just inform your insurance company and let them handle it. That is what you pay them for.
