Fenella Fudge all set to meet up expectations in the Residence 9 Fillies’ Handicap

The favourite entry of the race took the initial lead after taking it off from the seventh gate but weakened towards the final furlong as competition started flooding in.
Fenella Fudge was the hard one to beat in the concluding stages even though she failed to make a strong start. After killing off the major chunk of the distance, the Derek Shaw trained went left when entering the deciding furlong, and edged past Eastward Ho by a short head’s distance.
The roaring success has kept the connections motivated even after a fourth finishing in the Mobile At Bet365 E B F Fillies’ Handicap on 23rd June, 2012 at Newmarket over a mile.
She will need to look out for Ken’s Girl who posted a win through the most recent outing at Chepstow.
