Feng s**+ pockets Men’s 50m butterfly title: 2011 FINA World Cup
Feng s**+ of China clinched Men’s 50m butterfly title at the sixth stop of the 2011 FINA World Cup in Beijing, China. The event was staged from November 8-9, in which Melissa Jane Ingram of New Zealand also grabbed Women’s 200m back-stroke crown.
In the first race, s**+ knocked out Australia’s Sam Andrew Ashby of Austria and Weiwu Chen of China by thrashing the finishing cordon in a fastest mark of 23.47 seconds to claim Men’s 50m butterfly title. In the meantime, Ashby earned silver title in a spot
of 23.51 seconds and Chen settled for bronze medal in a time of 23.56 seconds.
Andrew George Lauterstein of Australia earned fourth spot by clicking the finishing fence in a mark of 23.79 seconds, while Gyu Cheol Chang of Korea settled at fifth position in a time of 23.90 seconds. Omar Pinzon of Colombia pocketed sixth place in a time
of 23.95 seconds, whereas, Chao Hu of China was placed seventh in a mark of 24.04 seconds. Finally, ANTALFY Timothy Josif
of Australia claimed eighth position by touching the finishing wall in a time of 24.08 seconds.
Meanwhile, Melissa Jane Ingram topped the Women’s 200m back-stroke final race by clicking the finishing blockade in a winning time of 2 minutes and 03.00 seconds and Yanxin Zhou of China settled for silver medal in 2 minutes and 03.01 seconds. Yige Yao of
China earned bronze title by hitting the finishing fence in a time of 2 minutes and 05.78 seconds.
Shiho Sakai of Japan earned fourth spot by clicking the finishing wall in a time of 2 minutes and 05.93 seconds, while Miyu Otsuka of Japan claimed fifth position by touching the finishing cordon in a mark of 2 minutes and 06.84 seconds.
Shengxue Rao of China grabbed sixth position in a time of 2 minutes and 07.12 seconds, whereas, Mikkayla Sheridan of Australia settled at seventh spot in a time of 2 minutes and 08.31 seconds. Last, but not the least, the eighth position went to Luliia Larina
of Russia in a blot of 2 minutes and 11.01 seconds.
