Feng Shui parallel doors?

Um..I'm just asking, but in feng shui, why should doors not be parallel to each other?

If you have one door in front of another, it is only a problem if both doors are open. This is mainly a problem having when it comes to the front door and the other one is the back entrance of a house.

what do you mean by parallel?

if you mean 2 doors facing directly each other, the reason is what goes into the first door, goes out the other door fast - this includes life/ health, people/ friends, money, all that goes into your life will easily go out. and in fengshui, chi or energy must linger in the house before it goes out. so that if the chi is good (bec chi can be bad), it can affect your life in a positive way. the same effect goes with having a bed underneath a stairs.

another take on this is if 2 apartments' or condo units' doors are facing each other, then the owners or occupants of both units will always be in a feud.

if you mean a room or house have 2 doors next to each other. this is only bad if the doors lead outside. because it means that sooner or later, the house will be broken into 2. somtimes a spouse will have an affair, and the marriage can end up into a divorce.
