1. contrary to what is published in most books and websites. fengshui cannot create harmony in your house. it just can optimize your life by using the good chi/ energy and not using the bad chi/ energy. the problem just lies on the fact that for you to know where these are located and how to use these, you need a fengshui practitioner's help. without it, you would be guessing.

in fengshui, guessing is definitely not a good thing. bec for example, you heard that it is good to put an aquarium in such a location. but you didn't know that there is too much fire (not actual fire, but fire chi or energy), if you use that space frequently, or provide that space with movements like put an aquarium with an aerator, then you "activate" the chi, which is fire - then it follows that a fire accident might happen - this is chinese fengshui. so knowing this. fengshui practitioners can use and not use certain spaces, even manipulate these energies to advantages of their clients.

there is a good book called a "master course in fengshui" by eva wong. search it at amazon.com. it is a very good book. it will explain to you the basics of flying stars method, the method that i just mentioned above. but the advanced use of the method is not in the book, i think you need to learn that from another practitioner or master like what i did.

flying stars is more powerful that what most english fengshui books are about - like cleaning the clutter, the bagua method, etc. but do note that the more powerful it is, the more deadly it can be, when used improperly like putting an aquarium in the space with too much fire chi. if you even sleep in the area with too much fire chi, it can cause illnesses related to the heart and blood.

  3. Well if you look online you could find some but other than that I don't know any books. But for feng shui you could add some:

    -Bonsai trees

    -mini water fountain

    -rocks

    -lamps with beaded shades

-and /or Asian inspired art or photos of nature would be a good addition to your walls.
