Fennell Bay to complete his hat-trick in the £150,000 Tattersalls Millions 3-Y-O Cup at Newmarket

After succeeding in two races, Fennell Bay is on his way to complete his hat-trick in the £150,000 Tattersalls Millions 3-Y-O Cup at Newmarket on 30th June, 2012.
Dubawi’s son has all the potential in the world to win the 1 mile and 2 furlongs event. Foaled by Woodrising, the young runner raised his esteem with his incredible performance at the Royal Ascot on 21st
June, 2012.
Mounted by rider Joe Fanning, he charged through the King George V Stakes over a distance of 1 mile and 4 furlongs, and defeated the Godolphin owned, Handsome Man, by a narrow margin of a neck.
Prior to this, the bay colt landed an incredible victory at Sandown, when he aced the 1 mile track in the Betfred The Bonus King Handicap on 16th June, 2012, when he defeated the Lee Carter trained, Prince Of Sorrento.
The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum owned runner is all set to complete his hat-trick. Mark Johnston gave him the green light and declared he was fit to run as he commented:
"He's absolutely fine. There's a possibility he could run in the sales race at Newmarket this weekend."
Along with Fennell Bay, the trainer has also entered Haymarket, Switzerland, Ukrainian, Van Ellis, Aliante, Lost Highway, Party Line, and Raheeba in this race, with the hope that they will deliver impressive performances.
Fennell Bay might be in the right form, but his run will not be an easy considering Mick Channon has entered the three-year-old, Samitar.
The daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar, out of mare Aileen´s Gift, proved her skills, when she bagged the Group 1 Etihad Airways Irish 1,000 Guineas at Curragh on 27th May, 2012, where she defeated the
A.P. O’Brien trained, Ishvana.
The filly also delivered a solid finish in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, when she finished fourth among ten runners in the 1 mile race that took place on 22nd June, 2012.
