Feral kitten: update

Question

I thought he was a feral but now I wonder. He didn't eat anything today till I took him to the food. He's staying in the kitten nursery till his infection clears up so I know he could find it. He also purred and head butted me as he ate. He's 6 weeks old and I caught him at a kitten dump where we found about 100 kittens. His vet check went well. He just needed some antibiotics, ear mite treatment, and TLC. Some of the others are sicker than this one but I wonder if they all would be so easily socialized? We plan to try and catch more this weekend.

This is Rocky. The vet said his eye will be fine in about a week.

Aww he's a cutie. Let me know once he finds a home. He's young, so even if he is feral he could learn to be a house pet.

Lil Rocky is so cute!  He's just a little round ball with big ears.  Thanks for the update and the good news about Rocky's eye.  He is gonna feel so good in a few days. And his name is so cool.

There was a posting on my local news this eve about people dropping off whole litters at the shelter and how many other healthy kittens had to be put to death to make room for them.  Our joy is usually short lived.

Even at this age he should show some sign of fear if he is feral.  I am thinking more and more that this is a dump site.

i did the same thing i recue kittens from cat dups where ther are about 2 - 300 kittens and cats
