The veteran manager has a launched a tirade of comments aimed at defending the Glazers, who have loaded a huge debt on the club following their takeover in 2005.
After buying Manchester United seven years ago, American business family, the Glazers, have made themselves public enemy number one in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
Seen as invaders from the west, they have the controlling interest in the Old Trafford giants and while the team has performed on the pitch, the books have failed to balance themselves out.
Burdened with an almost £500 million debt, it has vastly cut down on Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364 and Nick Powell.
However the criticism still exists and the Glazers are met with hostility whenever they come to visit. While most Red Devil fans continue to launch attacks on them, Ferguson for one is satisfied with the current bosses, as he claims that they have given
him a free-hand in running of the team and are also pumping in cash to update the Carrington training ground.
“I’m absolutely comfortable with the Glazers situation. They’ve been great. So if you’re asking me for my views, I don’t have any complaints. They’ve always been as sensible as they can in terms of financing the team, and they have to invest in the team
to maintain the value of their asset.”
“I think there are a whole lot of factions at United that think they own the club. Then, when the Glazers took over, there was disaffection, so there have always been wee pockets of supporters who have their views… and there’s nothing wrong with that.”
The 19-time English champions are currently on tour to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, as they prepare to take grasp the title back from Manchester City.
And as for things on the pitch, Ferguson couldn’t ask for more with the side also reportedly completing a lucrative transfer deal for Brazilian starlet http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Moura-c26908.
