Manchester United’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson has gone on to hail Antonio Valencia’s form and admitted that the wingers performances have been exceptional in recent weeks.
The Red Devils took on Fulham in the Premier League last night, with the opportunity to go three points clear at the top of the table.
Following a close encounter with their opponents, the Manchester based team went on to win the game, with the final score card reading one goal to nil in their favour.
Despite http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 having scored the match winning goal, Alex Ferguson went on to praise Valencia for the way he performed in the game, as the manager believes that the attacker has been one of the best players in his squad this season.
When talking about the Ecuadorian, Ferguson is quoted to have said:  “He [http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonny-Evans-c19085 were our best players, and Rafael da Silva did well also.”
“I think that Valencia has got exceptional talent and people underrate him. We don’t, that is why we bought him and now he is back and in that form it gives us a big chance.”
The manager then went on to admit that it was good to see his team score their opening goal with such ease, but felt that they needed to kill the game off, since they risked dropping points in the game.
Ferguson then went on to add: “It was a result for us tonight. Three points was what we were after.
“I thought for an hour we did very well. Our passing was quick, we made some decent chances but you have to give credit to Fulham.”
Over the course of the last couple of weeks, United have gone on to show just how resilient they can be.
The team has gone on to win a majority of their games at home and away, while Manchester City have been having their fair share of problems.
Should the team continue to play at such an extraordinary level, they could easily go on and claim the title of being Premier League champions at the end of the current season.
