Manchester United’s manager Alex Ferguson, who is set to leave the club at the end of the season has gone on to admit that he is quite happy with the appointment of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes as his successor.
Ferguson went on to announce that he would be leaving United at the end of the season, and this news came as a shock to just about everyone.
However, the major question on everyone’s minds was just who would be coming into the club to take over as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s successor.
That question seems to now be answered as the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 manager is now set to move to Old Trafford and take charge of the Red Devils once the current season comes to an end.
Ferguson, when talking about his future successor, is reported to have said: "When we discussed the candidates that we felt had the right attributes we unanimously agreed on David Moyes.”
"David is a man of great integrity with a strong work ethic. I've admired his work for a long time and approached him as far back as 1998 to discuss the position of assistant manager here.”

Sir Bobby Charlton, who is set to be joined by Ferguson on the board of directors at the club, feels that the club made the right decision by asking Moyes to come in, since he feels he has just what it takes to build on the foundation that Ferguson has set.
“I have always said that we wanted the next manager to be a genuine Manchester United man," Charlton explained.
"In David Moyes, we have someone who understands the things that make this such a special club.”
Nonetheless, nothing can be said for certain just yet, since it is going to be a wait to see just how the club shapes up with the new manager at the club.
