Manchester United manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385, but is looking to put an end to that poor run as the teams take on each other on Monday.
Going into the game, United are sitting three points clear of Manchester City, as the title race nears its conclusion.
As a result, neither of the two teams can afford to drop any more points in their upcoming games.
However, with United having won only two of the last eleven games that they have played away from home to Blackburn, the team is heading into their upcoming game with a lot of caution.
Despite the Rovers fighting it out to avoid relegation, Ferguson has admitted that his team won’t be taking any chances, as they will go into their game, looking to pick up all three points from it.
When talking about the upcoming game, the Red Devils boss is quoted to have said: "I couldn't answer why.”
"When Blackburn score first they make it difficult for you, so maybe the answer is to make sure we keep our noses in front.”
However, the manager went on to reveal that despite the team feeling a little out of place, considering how they don’t have any more midweek fixtures to participate in, they are fresher than ever and are on course to winning their twentieth league title.
"We have been used to playing midweek games for so long that you do miss it," he admitted
"The players miss it too. Yes, we do get freshness but you can't have it all ways. We would rather be in the Champions League."
With United still sitting on top of the league table, the ball is now in their court and it is up to the team to decide just how they want to see out their season.
Should both the teams from Manchester continue to win their games, they could go on and end up playing the title decider on the 30th of April, when the two teams take each other in the Premier League.
