Ferguson looking to sign Belgian 'Ronaldo'
Manchester United' manager is looking to bring back Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford, only instead of bringing back the Portuguese sensation he will be looking to sign the Belgian prodigy Eden Hazard, who has earned himself the
status of being called the next ‘Ronaldo’.
The talented youngster who currently plays for Lille is currently only nineteen years old, but due to the brilliant form that he has shown so far, he would cost the team as much as twelve million pounds. The only reason for the player
being tempted to move away from Lille is because of the fact that he seems to have out frown the Ligue 1 team. The player has been performing so well in France that he seems to be the biggest fish in a rather small pond, despite the fact that he is still only
nineteen years old.
Ferguson on the other hand is finally looking to add some much needed youth to the Manchester United team. This is because the manager has realized that midfielders such as Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are set to retire sooner rather
than later. With that in mind the manager has been in the market to try and pick up some long term replacements for the players. Keeping that in mind the manager looked no further than Hazard who seems to have all the quality in the world to fit into the United
side with no difficulties.
However there seems to be a barricade in the manager’s path in the form of Arsene Wenger. The Arsenal manager has also been an admirer for the player and according to reports the French manager is looking to use his links in the
country to beat Ferguson to the player’s signature.
Despite both the manager wanting to sign the player, in the end it would be up to Hazard to decide what team he wants to join. According to most experts a move to Arsenal would have been the smarter option for the player to make,
however with United looking to go the Arsenal way and incorporate youth in the team, it is now down to the players personal liking to decide what team he wants to join.
Some might argue that the market value of the player is rather high for someone his age. However those critics need to take into account the fact that despite being only nineteen the player is in his fourth season with the French
team and he also has more European experience than most teenagers can claim to have. The player is also quite adaptable and due to his fine form, he has managed to secure a spot in the Belgian national side.
