Manchester United’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Owen-c25355, as the player has gone on to part ways with the Red Devils.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international, who is now thirty two years old, went on to make the move to Old Trafford in 2009.
The striker was signed on a free transfer, following his contract with Newcastle United coming to an end. However, he is now being released once again and has become a free agent.
Despite the forward not making a lot of appearances for the team, Ferguson has gone on to praise the striker and he even went on to thank him for all the work that he did at the club.
When talking about Owen, the Red Devils boss is reported to have said: "It is a pleasure to have had Michael [Owen] at Manchester United"
"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 is a consummate professional and was an influential figure in our dressing room. Unfortunately he had no luck with his injury this season.”

"Michael's record of goals per game is exceptional and we wish him all the best for the future."
Owen’s time at United had been lined with injuries and a lot of time spent on the bench. However, despite all these setbacks, the forward managed to make fifty two appearances for the team. In those appearances, he went on to score seventeen goals for the
club.
Owen was considered to be a cup player, more than a league one. This is why he only managed to make five appearances for the team in the Premier League.
Despite all the praise that Owen has gotten, it is safe to assume that he was nothing more than a waste at the club. He spent most of his time on the bench or in the reserves and didn’t really contribute much during his stay with the team.
Nonetheless, it seems like Ferguson has finally decided to part ways with the forward, as he looks to create space for some new signings, who he will be looking to bring in, in the near future.
It is now a wait to see just who comes in to replace Owen.
