Fermentation in fruit?

I have a bottle with 4 apples and 200 grams of sugar. I want a general idea of how long it will take to ferment, and how much alcohol percentage am I expecting....

  1. It will act quicker if you will put some yeast in it.

    One pack for 5 Gal. it will take about 15 days it will be about

    10% to 11% Alcohol.


  2. You need to tell us how much water is involved

    Most fermentation can take up to 30 days or longer if the conditions are not right.

    Go buy 1 gallon of Apple Juice and add 4 cups of sugar and either wine yeast or bakers yeast.

    If you add wine yeast you can expect about 12% alcohol

    If you add bakers yeast you can expect about 7% alcohol

    Both will take about 2 weeks to ferment.

    After 2 weeks put the gallon in the refrigerator for about 45 days and the wine will clear up really good.  Filter the wine thru a cheese cloth or pillow case to remove alot of the sediment and it should be ready to drink
