Fernando Alonso successfully conquers the Singapore Grand Prix
The 29-year-old Spaniard has shown his commitment and dedication to the fullest and has finished the Singapore Grand Prix in a sensational manner. Fernando Alonso brushed his opponents away and showed his winning class in a blunt way.
It was a very tough and challenging battle between the Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso and the German veteran racer Sebastian Vettel but it was Alonso who won the contest in a glorious way. Vettel gave Alonso a very strong challenge from the beginning until
the end but was not able to finish it on the top spot. On the other hand, the Briton top-racer Lewis Hamilton got unlucky and failed to finish his race after a strong collision with the Australian veteran racer Mark Webber. After that Webber fought hard and
finished third. Webber was followed by Lewis Hamilton's teammate Jenson Button, who finished the race at the fourth spot.
After this stunning and remarkable performance, Fernando Alonso has successfully pushed his name on the second spot on the overall points table of the season. Mark Webber is still ruling the points table with just 11 points more than Alonso.  Lewis Hamilton
is third on the overall points table.
The race and the track of Singapore Grand Prix were not easy at all. It was full of twists and turns which needed sheer focus and practice to conquer. The difficult nature of the track made the race even tougher for all the drivers. It is also to be remembered
that no Singapore Grand Prix has been completed without a safety car period. The driver Vitantonio Liuzzi from the Force India team was the first to suffer the car suspension problem in the third lap of the race and gave the chance to the Australian veteran
Mark Webber to push the barriers of his car’s speed even further to clutch the lead.
After a pit-stop the Australian started to give his full on the track and easily took the lead from Kamui Kobayashi and Timo Glock. Webber showed his class and temperament pretty brilliantly by making perfect moves and passing the German veteran Michael
Schumacher on the track.
It is also to be noticed that the pit-stops by the different teams played a very important part regarding the race results. On the twenty first laps the Australian championship leader Mark Webber was just forty seconds behind from Fernando Alonso. After
that the pit-stop by the McLaren drivers made the day a bit easier for the Australian to shorten the time gap. After the pit-stop, Lewis Hamilton rejoined the track in the 29th lap and his teammate Jenson Button joined the race in the 30th lap. Later both
the McLaren drivers were crossed by Webber pretty easily.
After that another safety car period caused when Kamui Kobayashi slammed his car into the railings. Just after the incident the race was stopped for some time, and soon after the restart the two arch rivals Webber and Hamilton came very close to each other
over the racing track. On the corner Webber tried to overtake Hamilton but it was not as open as it seemed. Both the cars collided pretty badly on the corner, which resulted in Hamilton's exit from the race due to the car damage.
The incident has no doubt damaged the hopes of the Briton for the world title. When he was asked about the episode, he responded that he was not aware of Webber's location at the time of collision. He added that he is not happy with the way everything has
gone, as the race was not lucky for him at all.
Later after the collision Webber somehow managed to continue his race and fought hard with Alonso and Vettel. The trio showed their dominance over the racing track pretty well but it was Fernando Alonso in the end who managed to take the lead.
