Fernando Guerrero ready to go against Grady Brewer of America – Boxing news
The American national Light Middleweight, Fernando Guerrero, is currently preparing for his upcoming fight that is going to be against another fighter of Light Middleweight division, Grady Brewer of America on June 17, 2011 at the Frank Erwin Centre in Texas,
United States.
The 24-year-old, Guerrero will be defending his NABF Light Middleweight title against the 40-year-old, experienced Brewer.
The Southpaw stance, Brewer has been outstanding performer since he joined boxing. He has never been defeated by anyone in his growing career. Guerrero made the first ever step to the boxing world fighting against the Derrick Douglas in 2007 in United States.
Guerrero won all the 21 bouts without any loss in his professional boxing career.
The American national Light Middleweight, Grady Brewer is currently the holder of North American Boxing Federation and North American Boxing Organization middleweight titles.
The orthodox stance, Bad Boy has not been an impressive performer since he joined boxing as a profession. He fought 39 of his total fights of which he won 27 competitive bouts including 15 wins by scoring knockout over world’s best boxers with 12 considerable
losses and no draw in his professional boxing career.
Guerrero’s manager, Hal Chernoff said, “Fernando's right on the brink of going for the title and he's ready. This fight is the fight we've wanted to take the next big step; we don't want to be in the same position next time for our next fight. This is a
good fight, it's ESPN, a decent opponent, but now we're ready.”
Adding to this Chernoff said, “In terms of recognition, Fernando's stepping up in terms of who he's fighting, because mostly anyone who watched 'The Contender' knows who Grady Brewer is, the fact Fernando is such a well-rounded fighter makes it easier for
him to be able to adjust to a new fighter than a lot of other boxers could.”
Hopefully, the night will be full of action when both the fighters will be standing face to face to win the competition. The fight will be important for both of the fighters as the winning party can get many possible and worthy fights as a reward in future.
